A talented new artist will be presenting his work on OPID Records for the first time. We are excited to welcome Rukhman from Israel to our team!
Rukhman’s work is the blend of the West and the Orient, Europe and the Middle East, untamed chaos and discipline. Born in Israel, he has travelled a lot around the world with his father, a classical pianist. His first approach to music was through classical piano music, very orderly but distant to his chaotic and wild imagination.

He spent the nineties as a punk/metal head, then studied sound engineering, eventually moved to Italy and became a resident sound engineer in one of the major studios in Northern Italy. Electronic music marked the culmination of his musical experience through various genres and sub genres of House and Techno.

The birth of his Organic, Afro and Downtempo alias gave his musical journey an important boost and acknowledgment releasing music on imprints such as Cafe De anatolia, Kosa, Suprematic and others.
